2019 Lange SX100 ski boots
Lange engineers have designed a brand new Thermo 2 molded liner better mirrors on it's outside, the inside shape of the boots lower shell. This results in a quicker, out of the box fit, with less gaps between the liner and shell that pack out over the first few days of use. The boot you feel out of the box is closer to the same boot you will feel after many days of skiing. All of the Lange DNA that makes this brand the top skiing boot year, after year, is found in this SX 120.
The SX 100 shell is functionally, and fit wise identical its stiffer SX 120 and 130 siblings, but a bit softer in over all flex, and its slightly softer Thermo 2 liner features softer foam in the heel area. Still includes replaceable soles to allow for wear and tear, and for the application of Cantology canting soles if you so desire, and also with the traction grip shape found on the more expensive boot.
How does the Lange SX 100 fit? The 102mm shell last fits medium, to wider, but still with a very anatomical, close fit through the heel area. Even when feet are wider, the heel is most often not so wide. This is definitely a performance fit, but with lots more room inside than the typical 100mm fit ski boot. If you have wider feet, a higher instep, this may be the perfect fit for you. Or, if you just want more room in the toe box area, this is the way to go.
