Atomic Shift MNC 13 AT to Alpine snow ski bindings
Atomic Shift MNC 13 ski bindings
(Functionally identical to the Salomon S/Lab Shift, except for color and branding.).
Not very often does a game changer come along like Shift. This binding totally bridges the gap between Alpine and AT performance. It actually performs as two bindings in one:
• With the Shift lever closed on the toe piece, this super light binding functions exactly like any other Alpine step in binding. Step in, step out, very tight connection between the boot and the ski
• With the Shift lever open, this binding functions like any other Tech binding for free heel uphill or flat terrain touring.
The Shift MNC 13 is compatible with any boot sole standard available on the market today. So, no matter which boot you want to use today, it will be compatible with this binding.
Atomic says, "Our Shift binding shepherds in the next generation of freeride capability – and is the binding that freeriders and all-mountain skiers have been telling us they’ve been waiting for. It’s the first ever binding that’s a genuine tech binding for touring – but then shift to ski mode and it turns into a genuine freeride binding for the way down, with a TÜV certified Alpine heel and toe that’s compatible with all ISO boots norms on the market."
"Using a simple lever in the toe, you can confidently transition from touring in a pin binding to a true alpine binding (toe and heel) with a 13 DIN for charging downhill. Plus, with 47 mm of elastic travel (same as the legendary STH2), the SHIFT's long toe wings offer top of the line energy transfer and efficiency."
• DIN range is 6 to 13
