2021 Dalbello Panterra 130 ID GW snow ski boots.

Panterra 130 GW ID features NEW SHELL design called Power Cage.  The fit remains the same, but the overall shape of the outside is slimmer, and the weight is lighter yet again.  By concentrating more material in some places, the power transmission to the ski's edge has been increased.  But, less material in other places removes unnecessary weight.  And, the walk mode as also been improved, now offering a 50 degree range of motion.

ID liners are designed to be custom molded to perfectly match the contour of your foot, your leg, and also to perfectly match the inner contour of the shell on the outside.  This ID Max Hike liner features the firmest, most performance oriented material available in the Panterra family.  And, it also is designed with a lace up system that keeps the liner closed around the leg when the boot is loosened and unlocked for hiking.  Although it can be skied out of the box, it really works and fits best when it is heat molded.

Also new for 2020, all Panterra models now come with new Grip Walk soles.  Grip Walk is a whole new world for any skier who walks any distance in their ski boots.  Maybe a hike up to that special spot that is not lift served.  Or, maybe just walking in the parking lot.    Ski boots have never been this easy to walk in.

Panterra offers a combination of 3 piece shell design and AT capability no other boot on the market offers!  Dalbello has well established itself as a top boot brand in the world by designing ski boots with 3 piece shell architecture that work really, really well with today's ski designs.

The heart of the Panterra's design is Dalbello's well proven Cabriolet design with THREE important features. (1) The forward flex and lateral stiffness are separated from each other, (2) the location of the innovative Dynalink buckle holds the foot down and back in the shell better than any other buckle system on the market, and (3) the lower cuff hinge points allow a very natural movement of the leg fore and aft.  Panterra offers a 3 piece shell design in a roomier, more mainstream fit than found in the lower volume KR series, with the same Power Cuff design with super low hinge points, and the same Dynalink instep buckle to lock the foot down and back.

How does the Panterra 130 GW ID fit?  The overall shape of the boot fits medium to slightly wider than an average volume foot.  Width is average, the toe box is roomy and the heel pocket is nice and snug.  The instep is slightly HIGHER than many overlap boots, and the upper cuff is a bit SHORTER (shorter yet if the spoiler is removed) and snug.  If you have medium to wider feet, an average to higher instep, and/or larger calves, this will be a great choice for you.
